She appeared in the German filmDas Rasthaus der grausamen Puppen (1967) and in Mission Stardust (1967), and then Metzger hired Persson for a title character in his 1968 French film Therese and Isabelle about a lesbian sexual affair between two schoolgirls. I a Woman (original DanishJeg - en kvinde) is a 1965 black-and-whiteDanish-Swedish erotic film whose break-through popularity helped initiate a wave of sexploitation films into mainstream American theaters in the late 1960s,[2] and inspired Andy Warhol to write and direct his feature-length experimental film version I, a Man.[3]
